Revel was officially founded in 2015, but some may say it started in the 90's when founder Amy Theberge cut her chops planning neighborhood bike rides, talent shows, picnics and snow day parties. Fast forward a couple decades, Amy fell in love with professional event planning through her experience working and inventing events on her college campus, behind the scenes in the music business, and through her years-long employment for large international nonprofits. Over the last 10 years, a few of Revel’s highlights have been co-producing the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration on the west coast and Mississippi Street Fair - the largest street festival in Oregon, providing much needed entertainment during the pandemic with 100’s of nights of Drive In Movies with PAM CUT, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Grand Re-Opening of the Portland Art Museum, Outdoor Elements of the Portland Book Festival, helping grow the Montavilla Jazz Festival, long days at Portland Street Fairs across the city, large scale charity concerts for 10,000 guests and so much more! Bottom line? Amy is a hustler who finds creative ways to solve problems and loves to use her experience and Rolodex to pull off detailed and memorable events, no matter how big or how small.
